Founder & Neurologic Music Therapy Fellow

Kaitlyn is a Certified Music Therapist (MTA) and Neurologic Music Therapy Fellow (NMT-F) with a Master of Music Performance in Applied Music and Health Sciences from the University of Toronto under the supervision of Dr. Corene Thaut, co-founder of Neurologic Music Therapy. Kaitlyn is the founder of Rhythmic Rehab Inc., a rehabilitation company providing high quality Neurologic Music Therapy services to individuals with neurologic impairment across the lifespan in Cambridge, Ontario. Kaitlyn also works in inpatient/outpatient neurorehabilitation with the Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN) at Chicopee. Specializing in neurorehabilitation, Kaitlyn completed her clinical training at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston, MA with MEDRhythms and the Neurologic Music Therapy Services of Arizona. Kaitlyn is an Assistant Facilitator of the Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy, a member of the recently formed International Academy Task Force representing Canada, the Eastern Canada Support Chapter Facilitator, and the Treasurer of the Music Therapy Association of Ontario. Kaitlyn is a passionate advocate of Neurologic Music Therapy, collaborating with community partners to educate and treat individuals living with neurologic impairment.
